Welcome to a New Chapter at CArE
When people think about arthritis, they often think of aching joints or the natural effects of aging. The reality is much broader. Arthritis affects people of all ages, influences every aspect of daily life, and is one of the leading causes of pain and disability in Canada.
At the Centre of Arthritis Excellence (CArE), we believe people deserve more than treatment, they deserve the knowledge, support, and coordinated care that empowers them to live well.
As the Executive Director, I am honoured to help lead an organization that brings together skilled healthcare professionals with a shared commitment to improving the lives of people living with arthritis. Every day, I see the dedication of our team as they work alongside patients, families, healthcare providers, and community partners to deliver compassionate, evidence-informed care.
This website is more than a place to learn about our services. It is intended to be a trusted resource where patients, caregivers, clinicians, and partners can access practical information, discover educational opportunities, and stay connected with the work we are doing together.
Over the coming months, we will use this blog to share updates from CArE, practical health information, stories of innovation, new partnerships, educational resources, and insights into how arthritis care continues to evolve. Our goal is to provide content that is informative, relevant, and meaningful, whether you are living with arthritis, caring for someone who is, or working in healthcare.
We also recognize that healthcare is constantly changing. New research, emerging technologies, and stronger collaboration across the healthcare system create opportunities to improve patient experiences and outcomes. At CArE, we are committed to embracing innovation while always keeping the needs of our patients at the center of everything we do.
Thank you for visiting CArE and for being part of our community. We look forward to sharing this journey with you and continuing to work together toward a future where every person living with arthritis has access to the care, education, and support they need to live their best possible life.
Thank you for reading, and welcome to CArE.
