The Centre of Arthritis Excellence (CArE) provides community-based arthritis care focused on helping individuals better understand, manage, and live well with arthritis and related musculoskeletal conditions.
Our services are delivered through an interprofessional team that includes rheumatologists, pharmacists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and health educators. We offer evidence-based programs and personalized support designed to improve quality of life through education, treatment, exercise, and self-management strategies.
CArE services include:
- Assessment and treatment support
- Group education and exercise programs
- 1:1 consultations and individualized care
- Arthritis and osteoporosis education
- Fibromyalgia and inflammatory arthritis programs
- Self-management tools and patient resources
- Support for patients, families, and caregivers
Programs may be offered in person or virtually, depending on the type of service and patient needs.
