Carol brings 30 years of healthcare leadership experience, specializing in safety and security, emergency management and workplace violence and harassment. She also taught security and emergency planning part-time at the post-secondary level for 20 years, developing course curriculum at both the college and provincial levels.
In retirement, Carol focuses her community involvement at Hospice Simcoe, as the volunteer newsletter editor, as well as one-to-one bereavement support volunteer. Carol has just recently joined CArE, where she is committed to helping others, in some small way, who are navigating inflammatory arthritis. She continues to consult part time in her field and feed her passion of family and writing.
